I was born and raised in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. I attended an all-boys boarding school in Connecticut, the Salisbury School, for high school. For undergraduate education, I attended Duke University, from which I graduated with a BA in English and Philosophy in 2002. For law school, I attended Suffolk University Law School, where I was a staff member of Suffolk's Transnational Law Review, publishing two case comments. I graduated cum laude from Suffolk in 2008. After law school, I clerked for the Hon. Harry M. Grossman, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Land Court, and the Hon. Joseph A. Trainor, Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, in successive one-year terms, from September 2008 through August 2010. I am presently an associate at Phillips & Angley in Boston, MN, focusing on land use and real estate litigation.
